Planning the perfect proposal

When Ryan from New York reached out to me with a plan to propose to his girlfriend Kyla, I knew we had to make it something truly unforgettable. Ryan wanted the moment to be perfect, and after brainstorming together, we decided on the enchanting village of Saint Paul de Vence and the stunning Chateau Saint Martin as the backdrop for this special occasion.

We crafted the perfect cover story: a romantic photo shoot. Kyla thought Ryan had planned a beautiful day to capture some memories together in the picturesque French Riviera. Little did she know, something much more magical was about to unfold.

Proposal at Chateau Saint Martin

The big day arrived, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. The Chateau Saint Martin, with its breathtaking views and lush gardens, set the stage for the surprise of a lifetime. As I snapped photos of the happy couple on the chateau’s viewing terrace, Ryan and I exchanged a knowing glance. It was time.

I suggested Kyla do a quick spin for a fun shot, and as she twirled around and faced back toward Ryan, her eyes widened. There he was, down on one knee, holding a gorgeous ring. The look of surprise and joy on Kyla’s face was absolutely priceless. Tears flowed as she realized what was happening, and she gave an enthusiastic “yes” amidst her happy tears.

With the proposal captured beautifully on camera, we continued the photo shoot, now with an even more radiant Kyla and an over-the-moon Ryan. We strolled through the chateau gardens, taking in the beautiful scenery, and wandered around the charming village of Saint Paul de Vence, each moment more romantic than the last.

The day didn’t end there. Ryan had one more surprise up his sleeve—a fine dining experience at the Michelin-starred restaurant at Chateau Saint Martin. The newly engaged couple savored exquisite dishes, toasting to their future together in one of the most romantic places on Earth.

It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Helping Ryan plan and capture this surprise proposal was an absolute joy, and seeing Kyla’s reaction was a reminder of why I love what I do.
