What a wonderful wedding weekend!
Coralie and Sam gathered their friends and family to celebrate their wedding for the whole weekend at Chateau Rigaud, in the heart of the finest wine region in France. Coralie, being a professional wine expert, found the perfect place to host her colleagues / wedding guests.
The excellent chateau chefs provided outstanding dining experience (I had a pleasure to taste some of the courses and honestly, the food was sublime).
Early April chill didn’t stop anyone from having fun as the sun was still shining and the luxurious chateau dining room and a large barn were a great indoor options.
The spring blossom was a real bonus, especially as Rigaud has it’s own little fruit tree orchard – a sweet and unique background for the romantic couple photos.
The florists took the mosts of the early spring flowers, using lots blue bells, cornflowers and spring blossom to match the blue colour wedding palette.
The real excitement was to spend not just one day, but the whole weekend together. Starting with a cocktail reception and a cosy dinner on Friday, fun-filled wedding day on Saturday with lots of champagne and live music, and finishing with a game of rounders (or ‘wine-ders’) and a home cinema night on Sunday.
Chateau Rigaud, being a stylish venue with fine dining, was a great place for this wonderful yet fun and relaxed wedding.
