Summer is the most popular wedding season in Southern France. Everyone loves the wonderful sun, blue sky and breathtaking views. Kathleen and Ben were also so lucky to get married when the sunflower field in the neighbourhood was in bloom!
Kathleen and Ben’s wedding was a dreamed wedding. With the guests coming from all over the world – Canada, UK, France and Bosnia – they choose the charming Chateau de Brametourte for their special day.
Soft lilac and pastel pink colour scheme looked wonderful in the Sumer sun and agains the chateau pearly brick. The local florist, Les Arcades Fleuries, beautifully decorated the ancient garden arch for the ceremony.
Kathleen looked stunning wearing her gorgeous dress from Lulu Browns Bridal. The light, figure hugging dress with a long train fitted her like a glove. The beautiful handcrafted lace, sparkly sequins and tiny buttons made the dress a masterpiece in every detail. A beautiful dress looking charming both in the sun and the candlelight.
The bridal shoes from Charlotte Mills were a lovely, symbolical accessory. Engraved with the traditional wedding say: ‘Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue’, they even had a little lucky coin glued to the shoe sole. Kathleen admitted they were very comfortable too (and she could wear them all day and night long).
One of my favourite ideas at the wedding, was a group photos session. It was arranged at the corner of the swimming pools with a breathtaking view in the background. Kathleen and Ben brought external furniture (sofa and chairs) to pose their guests for the group photo. I think that made wonderful picture memories for the newlyweds and the guests.
The evening finished with a great reception. The guests really enjoyed the evening band – Hot Wax Music.
