A&D green wedding

Being nature lovers, Alice and Damien decided to keep their wedding relaxed and organic. Therefore, they choose an outdoor  wedding venue of La Téoulière, in Serviès (Tarn). This beautiful, green place, offered stunning views.  Also, it provided basic accommodation for the traveling guests.

The wedding started with a formal ceremony at the local Mairie. All the guests were invited. Afterwards, we all traveled to La Téoulière in Serviès for the informal ceremony and the reception.

The bride looked stunning stunning wearing a lace wedding dress from Carriere in Villefranche de Lauragais. The flowers in her hair added to her bohemian and fresh look.

Alice beautifully decorated the open air ceremony spot and the reception area. For the decoration, she used hand made origami flowers and paper birds. They gave a mystical character to the event, keeping it looking pretty and colourful but organic. The bridal bouquet, which Alice made with handmade paper flowers, was simply a master piece. Everyone admired the creativity and the beautiful colours.

The wedding ceremony was full of emotional speeches, music and tears of joy. To the guests surprise, instead of the traditional wedding ring, the couple preferred to plant a tree. With a help of their own child and other children, they potted a symbol of their marriage. What a nice and ecological gesture!

The ceremony the guests were invited for an apero on a balcony and then roasted pig dinner.

I really enjoyed the nice and relaxed atmosphere at the wedding and the organic and ecological vibe at Alice and Damien’s wedding. It was truly beautiful and sentimental event.
